WHO ARE WE?
Brooks Cooperative Homes owns five low-rise buildings at the Corner of Fifth Line and Sheridan Park Drive in Mississauga. The Co-op has eighty-four two and three bedroom garden homes.
The two-bedroom garden homes are located at ground level, with a private front door, and have a patio at the rear. Each unit has a small basement.
The two-bedroom +den and three-bedroom suites are entered from a corridor on the second floor. The living room, dining room and kitchen are on the lower level while 2 +1 or 3 bedrooms are upstairs.
Community recreation rooms, storage space, and shared laundry facilities are in the basements.
All residents over the age of fifteen may become members of the cooperative. Each member has one vote, and an equal voice in decision making. All bylaws of the cooperative are decided at meetings of the general membership. Day to day decisions operations are carried out by the cooperative’s staff and monthly board meetings are held to make governance and policy decisions by the board of directors who are elected by the members from among themselves.

Due to an extensive waiting list, the Co-op is not accepting applications at this time.
Waiting time for a unit is approximately 3-8 years from the time of acceptance, as the Co-op has a very low turnover rate.
